Women's Expo April 5th
|
|
|
| Join us for the 2nd annual Head to Toe Women's
Expo on Saturday, April 5th from 8 am - 3 pm, at the Double Tree
Hotel in Grand Junction.
A day for women of all ages to relax, recharge and reconnect!
Health screenings will be provided by Community Hospital along
with other exhibitors including New Life Chiropractic. Get your
questions answered by Drs. Whitlock, Hawke, and Sheader and CMT
Terri Syperreck.
Dr. Wendy Whitlock has received her advanced certification in
Neuro Emotional Technique (NET). NET is a technique used by Dr.
Wendy to identify and help you let go of "stuck"
emotional patterns. Emotions such as fear, anger, grief, and
many others can negatively affect us long after the original
event that caused them. When our body fails to "let
go" of these emotions, we can find ourselves with
unexplained aversions, self-sabotaging behaviors, destructive
beliefs, phobias and many chronic physical problems.
Our massage therapist, Terri Syperreck, CMT, will also be at
the Expo introducing attendees to the benefits of CranioSacral
Therapy. Everyday, you endure stresses and strain and your body
absorbs them. But your body can only handle so much tension
before the tissues begin to tighten and potentially affect the
brain and spinal cord. CranioSacral Therapy is a light-touch
approach that releases those tensions to allow the entire body
to relax and self-correct thus relieving pain and improving your
body's overall health and performance.
Pediatric Specialist Dr. Wes Sheader and Family
Practice Dr. Bryan Hawke will be on hand to answer any questions
you may have concerning Chiropractic care for you and your
family. So join us and make it a day and enjoy the Expo!

| Toys
for Tots Shopping Spree |
| Grand Junction, Colorado: Local Boys
Scouts, Girl Scouts and Sea Scouts competing to raise toys for
less fortunate children will be at the Rimrock Avenue Wal-Mart
this Sunday at 8:30am for a 30 minute shopping spree.
In this event, Wal-Mart has given the scouts $1500 for the
shopping spree. New Life
Chiropractic, who has organized the events says, "There are
inherent health benefits when people volunteer or give. It's
wonderful to see so many people looking to help. Scouts have
been volunteering their time, shoppers have been donating toys
to children, and Wal-Mart has been very generous."
The scouts have been offering lists of toys for the Toys for
Tots program on Saturday December 9th and Saturday December 16th
from 3:30-6:30pm. All of the toys donated from their efforts
will be gathered with the toys from the shopping spree for a
group photo after the shopping spree. The toys will then be
brought to the Toys For Tots warehouse to be counted and sorted.
People looking to volunteer at the warehouse to organize toys
can call 970-254-2954 for more information. |
