New Life Chiropractic specializes in providing safe, gentle, effective chiropractic healthcare to children and their families in Grand Junction and beyond.

1) Doctor Education:
Dr. Wes Sheader 

1996 Graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic which is the founding college of chiropractic. In addition to being a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Sheader is one of only 120 Pediatric Chiropractic Diplomates in the world; he has completed the 3 -year post doctorate degree in the specialized area of pediatrics and is passionate and committed to caring for babies, children and pregnant moms.

Dr. Wendy Whitlock  

2004 Graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic. Dr. Whitlock is currently enrolled in the Pediatric Chiropractic Diplomate degree program. At the Palmer Clinics, she completed her internship under the supervision of a Pediatric Diplomate and Director to the Clinical Pediatric Childcare Facility.  She also served as the Clinical Residency Assistant to the Pediatric Resident Doctor and Professor of Obstetrics and Pediatric Care.

Dr. Bryan Hawke, D.C.  

Dr. Hawke is a Colorado native, originally from Boulder. He moved with his family to Florida, where he attended high school. He received a degree from Saint Petersburg College in 1999, after enrolling in the early admissions program there. Dr. Hawke was helped tremendously by a Chiropractor in Florida, who persuaded him to become a chiropractic physician. He enjoys fishing, biking, skiing, sports, traveling, and outdoor activities.

2) Specialized Staff:
Terri Syperreck, C.M.T. - Terri graduated from the Academy of Healing Arts as a Certified Massage Therapist, and she is also certified in Prenatal and Postpartum Massage. Terri has completed post-graduate education in several specialty areas of massage:
  • Deep Tissue
  • Craniosacral Therapy
  • Neuromuscular, Therapeutic Muscle Stretching
  • Repetitive Use Therapy
  • Orthopedic Sports Massage

Terri is also certified as an infant massage instructor and makes working with pregnant moms and infants a specialty. She has completed and extensive post-graduate course in prenatal and postpartum massage which addresses high risk care, healing, labor support, and overall nurturing and bonding for mother and child. 

  Terri enjoys working with those seeking relaxation, improved health, prenatal and postpartum care, chiropractic support, and injury recovery.

  
3) Patient Education

With a unique 12 visit patient education program in place, New Life Chiropractic's patients are given a clear outline to the concepts of health.

   
4) Community alliances - 

New Life Chiropractic is in the process of launching a Grand Valley Children's Wellness Alliance with other local health and wellness focused business in the area. We feel that by supporting and encouraging other complimentary businesses in the health and wellness field we will offer our patients a more consistent and well rounded recommendation for health.


 Chiropractic Assistants

  We believe in investing in our staff to better serve you. Hiring highly qualified staff and providing Continuing Education is an integral part of staff training. Most recently, our Chiropractic Assistant, Lisa Blackmore has completed Basic X-Ray Training Certification and Advanced Autumn 8 Software Training.
